We are with Tina and also interested in 100% organic cotton apparel which is grown/manufactured/dyed, etc in the USA. We are willing and so are our customers to persue a transitional fabric if the farmers are dedicated to going completely organic in three years. Thanks for spreading the word, we look forward to hearing from you ~ Team Fred

Hello,

firstly, I want to commend you on a very informative blog.
wE OPERATE FASHION CLOTHING COMPANY OUT OF NEW YORK AND WERE INTERESTED in developing a line of organic materials
Are you currently aware of a directory listing that compiles data for organic cotton/material suppliers around the world?
Also, may i ask what your role is in this industry and your personal reasons for keeping this blog?
Your notes on mostly illegitimate cotton in India was extreely insightful
Is it true that no GOTS based inspections are carried out now in India?

Erik, thank you so much for blogging about this subject. I'm really beginning to research and become passionate about the organic cotton industry. I want to buy organic cotton fabric locally, in the states, but am having a hard time finding people who sell it by the yard or yards. Any thoughts or suggestions on this subject? Do we need more farming to happen locally before we can find truly organic fabric in abundance? thanks for your thoughts! I'll be reading.
